Altered States

We are all familiar with the changing states of water. Ice to liquid to water vapour. Solid Liquid Gas. The clever clogs amongst us might even say that water is unique in that it can change from a solid to a gas directly.

We’ll leave the science to the Carol Vordaman and “Cunts”.

In the meantime, welcome to my science. Spare a thought for the scientific principles used when a “flake of bogey” falls, like a sycamore seed in the wind, landing in a small drip of rainwater. This said bogey immediately changes state and become a “snot”.

Say the Sun came out to play and the said snot started to evaporate the majority of its liquid into the air. Our snot would then change state and become a “sneeze” (leaving a little dried bogey behind).

End of lesson.
